Child safety standards
How LuukMe prevents child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
§ 1. Commitment
LuukMe is an app for meeting people, intended solely for adults. We do not tolerate content depicting child sexual abuse, material suggesting the involvement of minors, or behaviour endangering minors — whether it concerns content, contact between users, or a profile itself.
Any violation of these standards results in the immediate removal of the content and the account, and — where required by law — a report to the relevant authorities.
§ 2. Age requirement — 18+
Registering in the Application requires providing a date of birth corresponding to an age of at least 18. The Application's interface does not allow selecting a date of birth indicating an age below 18.
Regardless of the interface restriction, every request to create a profile with an age below 18 is rejected on the Application's server, which prevents bypassing this requirement through a modified or unofficial client.
If a user is found not to meet the age requirement despite declaring it at registration, the account is removed immediately.
§ 3. Prevention and detection
Content moderation before publication
Every video and photo added by a user is automatically classified before it becomes visible to other users. Material classified as sexual in nature is rejected and never reaches the profile.
User reports
From any profile in the Application, a user can report another user or content, selecting a violation category, and immediately block that profile — a blocked person stops seeing the reporting user and cannot contact them.
Priority handling
Reports suggesting a profile may belong to a minor, or concerning material depicting child sexual abuse, are handled with the highest priority. The reported account is suspended while the matter is investigated.
§ 4. Response and cooperation with authorities
Once a violation is confirmed, we promptly remove the content and the account involved. In cases concerning child safety, we cooperate with the relevant law enforcement authorities and share information with them in accordance with applicable law.
§ 5. Reporting a violation
A suspected violation of the standards described in this document can be reported in two ways:
- In the Application — through the report function, available from any user profile.
- Directly — by writing to the designated child safety contact: contact@luukme.com.
We respond to every report concerning child safety.
§ 6. Help in an emergency
If a child is in immediate danger, call emergency services.
In Poland, the national helpline for children and youth is 116 111 (free, available 24/7).
§ 7. Changes to this document
This document may be updated in connection with the development of the Application or changes in the law. The current version is always available at this address.
